Squawk less, fly more
This morning, like every morning, I was awoken by the squawkings of a crane. Yeah, that’s right, the big, long-legged, stork-like birds you see along wetlands.
This particular bird raises a ruckus every morning when he walks through my yard and is confronted by the fence that separates my yard from the neighbors’. He (I’m not sure of the actual gender) walks up to the fence...

In one month,
the man that I have loved with every fiber of my being and who has enraged me more than anyone else, hurt me, healed me, been there for me, abandoned me, loved me and cursed me for four years is coming to visit me. I have no expectations, I have learned not to, all I know is that we will be together for a few days and see what happens from there.
